Bengaluru Metro to introduce Common Mobility Card for buses, India [free access]

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced plans to launch the Common Mobility Card to enable citizens to travel on Namma Metro and Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses using a single card. The card will first be tested on the Baiyappanahalli and Kempegowda metro stations and eventually will be introduced at all the 62 stations. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is providing the technology for the project.
