São Paulo Metro Line 19 tenders launched, Brazil [free access]

Companhia do Metropolitano de São Paulo (CMSP) has launched two tenders to conduct a topographical survey and to undertake utility network mapping for the construction of São Paulo Metro Line 19.

 

The first contract involves conducting a topographical survey at an estimated value of BRL943,200. The duration of the contract is 21 months. The last date for the submission of bids is August 27, 2019.

 

The second contract involves the provision of specialised engineering services for the mapping and registration of public utility networks at an estimated value of BRL2.18 million. The duration of the contract is 24 months. The last date for the submission of bids is August 28, 2019.

 

Line 19 (fully underground) is expected to span 17.6 km and to provide connections to Anhangabaú and Bosque Maia, covering 15 stations. It will be developed at an estimated investment of BRL15 billion. It has received funding of BRL50 million from the São Paulo state government. The average daily ridership of the line is estimated to be 526,000 passengers.
