Companies shortlisted for Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project, United States [free access]

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transport Authority (Metro) has shortlisted five companies for the planning and design of the Sepulveda transit corridor project, which will be developed at an estimated investment of USD9.5 billion.

 

The selected companies are ACS Infrastructure Development; LA SkyRail Express; Sepulveda Transit Corridor Partners (Bechtel); Sepulveda Transit Corridor Partners (Fengate); and Tutor Perini, Parsons & Plenary.

 

Phase I of the line, spanning between the San Fernando Valley and the Westside, is expected to commence operations in 2033. It will be developed at an estimated investment of USD 5.7 billion. Another USD3.8 billion is needed for the connection of the line from the Westside to LAX.
