Global Transit Ticketing & Fare Collection Report 2018

Global Mass Transit Research has launched the third edition of the Global Transit Ticketing & Fare Collection Report. The report provides a holistic view of the public transport ticketing industry, including assessment of the current situation, development plans and opportunities for procurement.

The report outlines the upcoming opportunities in the procurement of automated fare collection (AFC) systems, devices equipped with near-field communications (NFC) technology as fare media, mobile applications (apps) for ticketing and related services such as journey planning, as well as development of open-loop and account-based systems.

The report aims to serve organisations interested in the transit fare collection systems -transport authorities, operators, service and technology providers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, EPC contractors, investors/lenders, research organisations, industry consultants, regulatory agencies, development institutions, etc..

Parts 1 and 2 of the report (PPT format) comprise about 100 slides and provide information at the global level.
