Global Metro Projects Report 2018

Global Mass Transit Research has launched the fourth edition of the Global Metro Projects Report 2018, the most comprehensive and up-to-date study on the sector, on January 22, 2018. The report is being offered as a package with the Global Rolling Stock Supply and Upgrade Report 2018-2030.

The report will present information on existing network, stations, ridership, rolling stock, technology and fare systems. It will highlight upcoming capital investment needs and opportunities such as extension and upgrade of existing lines, procurement and refurbishment of rolling stock, upgrades of power supply and communication systems, upgrades of fare collection systems as well as construction and refurbishment of stations.

The report will comprise four distinct sections.

Part 1 of the report (about 60 pages) will describe the existing state of, and the expected opportunities in, the global metrorail industry in terms of network, ridership, rolling stock and technology, as well as fare systems. It will examine recent technical and financing developments; analyse key growth drivers and challenges; and assess the upcoming opportunities and future outlook of the industry.

Part 2 of the report (about 500 pages) will provide updated information on 100 projects that present significant capital investment opportunities. The report will cover 52 countries organised into five regions: North America, Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Middle East & Africa.
