Bus fleets expanded in Beijing, Inner Mongolia, and Zhenjiang, China [free access]

Beiqi Foton has delivered a fleet of 2,120 new-energy buses to Beijing Public Transport Group. The new-energy buses include plug-in hybrid electric and pure electric buses. In 2019, the company had supplied 2,790 new-energy buses in the city.


In addition, China-based Yutong has delivered a fleet of 60 electric buses in Aohan Banner, Inner Mongolia. These buses will replace diesel buses. Shunxiang Bus Company has invested CNY27 million in the procurement of buses.


A fleet of 88 electric buses supplied by BYD has also been deployed in Zhenjiang. Of these, 37 buses are of the K8 model and 51 buses are of the K9 model. Both the buses can cover a distance of around 300 km on a single charge.
