CTA starts testing Proterra electric buses, US

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) has started testing six Proterra electric buses (prototypes) on the 66 Chicago route. The performance of the buses will be evaluated before CTA approves the order for an additional 17 buses as part of an existing contract.
